8.1 Overview

Purpose: Examine the effect of wasting recovery definitions on age-specific incidence rates. Interpretation: Incidence rates were relatively insensitive to the duration a child needed a WLZ > -2 to be considered recovered. Implications: The incidence rates reported in the primary manuscript figure is not sensitive to the assumptions involved.
